"QDC Introduces Fresh Online Appointment System for Store and Permit Office Services"

 Amidst COVID-19 protocols, Qatar Distribution Company (QDC) transitioned to an appointment-only system from May 31, 2020. Previously, individuals holding valid permits could book appointments via SMS for in-store shopping, while permit renewals and new applications were processed through email at the QDC Permit Office.

However, effective June 16, all appointments and permit transactions are conducted solely online. This change suspends both email applications and SMS appointment procedures. QDC's announcement on Facebook assures the honor of confirmed SMS bookings and permit confirmation emails received before this transition. Retail Store appointments are open from June 16, while Permit Office Appointments begin from June 21 onwards.

To book appointments through the new online system:

Visit QDC's official website, www.qdc.com.qa, to schedule Retail Store or Permit Office appointments.

Choose from the menu options:

Store Visit

Permit Renewal or Lost Card

New Permit or Joint Permit or Review Office

Fill in necessary details:

Permit Number

QID Number

Email Address

Mobile Number

Captcha

Verify the provided information using the OTP received via email.

Select your preferred date and time slot from the available options.

Agree to the Terms & Conditions.

After successful booking, receive confirmation via a pop-up and an email with appointment details.

Remember to present the email confirmation along with your Permit Card for entry and purchases at QDC. Arrive at least 5 minutes before the appointment for a seamless experience.

Friday: 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
